University of Debrecen (in Hungarian "Debreceni Egyetem") is situated in Debrecen, the second largest city of Hungary. It is one of the oldest and biggest universities of the country. The University of
Debrecen (UD) has a student body of over 30 000 and 14 faculties on 6 campuses
make it one of the largest institutions in Hungary. The international
programs were launched in 1987, providing an excellent opportunity to
gain a valuable, internationally recognized degree. At present, the
number of international students is about 3,700 and they represent
countries from all major regions of the world. With a variety of
training programs, ranging from medicine to engineering to music, the
University of Debrecen has the widest selection of undergraduate,
