Andrássy University Budapest (in Hungarian " Andrássy Gyula Budapesti Német Nyelvű Egyetem", in German " Andrássy Gyula Deutschsprachige Universität Budapest") is the only university outside the German speaking area operating entirely in German. The university is a Hungarian and international university supported by Hungary, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Austria, the Free State of Bavaria, the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg, the Swiss Confederation and the Autonomous Region of Trentino South Tyrol. This university is “University of National Excellence” in Hungary and is the only university abroad, which is accredited on the basis of German rules by evalag (Evaluation Agency Baden-Württemberg). The students of Andrássy University Budapest (AUB) may choose from a wide range of scholarship opportunities. More than 50% of our students receive a scholarship, which margins the whole or a part of their expenses. They can find incoming scholarships anywhere they come from and for anything they want to study at the AUB. With the outgoing scholarships they can study or do an internship abroad for a short time.
